In 2011, Bimma was a recently retired Nike SB sneakerhead still loving at home with his mom in Baton Rouge, LA. In search of an escape from his dead end job he never wanted, he started blogging about his new hobby— running. In a short period of time, the blog attracted a national following and landed Bimma a job at Saucony in Boston, MA where he told the brand’s story on Instagram and designed lifestyle sneakers. After, he went on to adidas helping the brand secure celebrity sneaker collaborators like Donald Glover. Today, he co-founded Claima, a professional development brand, with BJ, helping underrepresented professionals advance their careers and drive business growth in the sportswear industry.
